What makes a hero

What i think makes a hero is someone that does something brave even though there scared, Our risking something of your self for the good of a stranger. What makes a hero is that the adverage joe mannages to do a scary task and mannage to keep the cool, The biggest hero ive seen would have to be Tom my friends dad he was always at dinner. he alwaysed helped his don with homework and then when everyone was sleeping he .would stay up later a study the next chapter in advance so he can help him the next day.
